The business was established in 1998 by David Armstrong and his father George, with support in the office from David's partner, Zoe. The company specialises in designing and installing high quality patios and drives, and has a strong reputation for delivering high standards of quality and service.

David Turner joined the team with many years of experience working for major companies, soon followed by Robert Smith who was eager to develop his paving skills, and enrolled in a two year CITB Course that gave him the necessary experience and qualifications.This is the core of the DA Block Paving team today.

The family connection is enhanced further by David's mother, Hazel, whose role is processing orders and scheduling jobs. The team is completed by George's brother, David, who designs and hand-builds children's playhouses, play areas and summer houses.
